Hombu Seminar 2026
A special 2-day Aikido seminar with Hombu instructor Shihan Hiroyuki Namba (7th Dan) will be held on the 27th and 28th March 2026. This seminar, hosted by the SLAA-SLA with the support of the Aikikai Foundation will be held in Colombo Sri Lanka. Aikido practitioners from around the world are welcome to participate. Location
The seminar will be held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute main auditorium. Located near the historic Independence Square, this location in the heart of Colombo city is surrounded by parks, restaurants and shopping districts. Participants will have easy access to restaurants and coffee shops offering many varied kinds of food and drink for every palate. For options, check out the Colombo Racecourse mall and the Arcade Independence Square. The shops in the area also offer various handicrafts for the souvenir hunter. On Saturdays, the nearby "Good Market" offers farmer's market style food and drinks, arts, handicrafts, fashion and various other organic local produce and experiences.
